Back from hiatus.

Over the summer, I was working on a long-term music project. I also took down from the shelf a novel I started five years ago and got back to work on it. I found a ton of tips on Janice Hardy’s blog Fiction University and received specific advice from my colleague and friend Vince Keenan. Anyway, I’m ready to begin the submission process. We’ll see if anything happens with that.

Taking two classes at LAVC this semester, beginning piano with Cassie Nickols and web design with Gerry Clark, both great teachers.

Anyway, I have a backlog of coverage from Dances with Films and the Los Angeles Film Festival. I spent the day yesterday at the Mill Valley Film Festival (see the review of Rob Nilsson’s Fourth Movement. Looking forward to AFI Fest next month.
