Although it’s still early in her career to call Adele “the voice of a generation,” it wouldn’t be stretching things too far, particularly after the success of “Rolling in the Deep.”

“Chasing Pavements” remains my favorite song by her. When I saw her perform it at the Hollywood Bowl in 2009, she was still a relative newcomer, shy and just happy to be there, but, what a voice!
